Meet Krissy

Hi, my name is Krissy. Currently I am a lot of things: a wife, mother, laundromat, cafeteria, dishwasher, housekeeper, teacher, and crafter - all very normal, every day life things. There are times where I grow weary of the same ol' same ol', but recently my life changed. I discovered that the God I have loved and desired to serve most of my life actually wants to interact with me, even in the same ol' stuff! My ordinary has become extraordinary, and expecting the supernatural is a way of life. He has been teaching me a new way of living by the Spirit and walking in faith, through which the inside of me is being transformed in a new way, so that he can flow from the inside out.

Over the last several months, the Lord has been speaking to me about overcoming. I love the song “Overcome,” by Jeremy Camp – I could put it on repeat all day! The line in the song that keeps playing over and over in my head is “We will overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.” It actually comes from a verse in Revelation 12 about overcoming the devil and his schemes. One day while I was listening to the song the Lord showed me how he has been giving me testimonies that cause me to overcome the schemes of the devil in my own life!

My goal with this blog is to share testimonies and stories of how the Lord has 'interacted' and caused me to overcome all kinds of things! Every time I remember these, I am more confident in Him, the power of his blood and what it accomplished for me, and I OVERCOME!
